Here’s some basic info for out of town guest.
Friday 10/6/23 4pm – Gathering for out-of-town guest at our home Friday night.
Saturday 10/7/23 5pm -9pm Party @ Pink Palace in Sea Trails, 295 Rice Mill Circle Sunset Beach.
Casual rec center in this community. Lots of Apps, food, beer & wine
Sunday 10/8/23 – 12Noon – Gathering for out-of-town guest at our home to chill

AIRPORTS – Wilmington, NC or Myrtle Beach, SC. Both are about 45 minutes from our home in Ocean Isle Beach (7099 Bonaventure St. SW)
AIRLINES – Southwest, Delta, American, Spirit – check the Airports as some additional airlines fly seasonally as well.
ACCOMMODATIONS – The weather will be close to perfect in October 67 to 75 degrees., so gather a group together and rent a house/condo on the ocean or share transportation. Most visitors will be gone by then but Golf will still be going strong so book early. There’s about 20 or more coming from out of town.
Hotels – there are a limited amount of traditional hotels in the area, I’ve listed them below.
House/Condo – rentals via real estate agencies & Airbnb, VRBO, etc. Links below
TRANSPORTATION – No Uber or Lift locally, but you can catch one from the airport to here. When in town – local taxi’s, vans or rental cars available. (see below)
RSVP – It’s a bit early to RSVP but if you pretty sure you either can or can’t come, please let me know. We have a lot invited so want to keep a general count to set things up. Would like final RSVP by September 1st. Thanks.
WHERE TO STAY – Easiest to stay close by in Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Calabash or Shallotte. Although Myrtle Beach seems close getting transportation there and back may be a challenge and some hotels have unsafe parking/public areas. Also if you’re drinking they sometime have checkpoints by the NC/SC border. Here’s the list. You can go through Airbnb/VRBO/Hotels.com, etc or also go through realtors that handle rentals on the beach. Places fill up early so book early.
